Moving to a New Device
Chaticon subscriptions are tied to your Apple ID, not to a specific physical device or local app data. As long as you are signed into your new device with the same Apple ID, your subscription will carry over seamlessly.
Steps for Your New Device
Sign into the new iPhone or iPad with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Download Chaticon from the App Store.
Open the app and tap Restore Purchases within your Profile (top-left of the home screen).
Your Premium status should activate within seconds.
Syncing Your Chat History
While your subscription is linked to Apple, your chat history is linked to your Chaticon account:
If you used "Sign in with Apple": Your history is backed up to our servers and will appear automatically once you sign in on the new device.
If you used the app as a Guest: Your history was stored locally on your previous device and cannot be transferred. To prevent data loss in the future, we strongly recommend using the "Sign in with Apple" option.
Changing Apple IDs
If you create an entirely new Apple ID, your subscription will not transfer (this is a strict Apple policy). You would need to cancel the old subscription and resubscribe using the new ID.
